Mr. Michel Bruyère

Mr. Michel Bruyère is the Chief Executive Officer of Neotelis. He has 15 years of experience in the telecommunications sector in the areas of sales & marketing, carrier relations, interconnection, and finance. This experience has been acquired with operators in Canada, France, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States and the United Kingdom. Mr. Bruyère is a member of the Advisory Board of the École Polytechnique de Montréal for the Engineering Physics department.

Mr. Bruyère holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, Canada, a Master in Physics from the University of Ottawa, Canada and a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business of the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada.

Mr. Jan Czech

Mr. Jan Czech has more than 25 years of experience in fast-growing and world-class high-technology companies. In the telecommunications sector, he has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of strategic and tactical planning, negotiations, forecasting, market analysis, rates and tariffs, development, regulatory and international affairs. He is the Past Chairman of the Board of the Computer Research Center of Montreal (CRIM), Director on the Board of the Québec Scientific Information Network (RISQ), Senior Business Advisor at Inno-centre and member of the Technical Advisory Board of Reflex Photonics Inc.

Mr. Czech holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Economics from the Université de Montréal, Canada.

Mrs. Helen del Val

Mrs. Helen del Val is an attorney with more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. In 2005, she was appointed to the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), Canadian regulator, as Commissioner representing the regions of British Columbia and Yukon. Before her nomination, Mrs. del Val practiced law in Vancouver in prestigious law firms and also in house as Senior Counsel at BC TEL, now TELUS.

Mrs. del Val holds a Bachelor in Arts, for which she received a medal for the highest standing in the Arts faculty, as well as a Bachelor in law from University of British Columbia, Canada. Mrs. del Val has been a member of the Bar of British Columbia (Law Society of British Columbia) since September 1983. She currently also serves as a member of provincial regulatory tribunals.

Mr. Jean-Guy Frenette

Mr. Jean-Guy Frenette has more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in the areas of human resources management, administration, information technology, customer relationship management, operations and general management. He has occupied several senior management positions for large telecom multinational companies and Canadian fixed-line operator and Internet service provider. Mr. Frenette has worked in more than 20 countries around the world in Africa, China, Eastern Europe, India, Latin America and South East Asia.

Mr. Frenette holds a Diploma in Administrative Sciences and a Master in Business Administration from Montreal Business School (H.E.C), Canada, a Certificate in Law from Université de Montréal, Canada and a Bachelor in Management Sciences and Certificate in Economy of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Canada. He is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

Ms. Donna Malliff

Ms. Donna Malliff has over 25 years of experience in the areas of telecommunication regulation including the development of regulatory policy, management, process re-design, financial analysis and regulatory reporting. She has extensive working experience with Canadian telecom organizations, having worked with several Canadian fixed-line operators and the Canadian regulator.

Ms. Malliff holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Université de Montréal, Canada, a Bachelor of Commerce from Université de Montréal, Canada and a Master of Business Administration from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

Mr. David Hannan

Mr. David Hannan has more than 10 years of experience in telecommunications in the development of business plans, financial models and reports for shareholders, creditors, banks and governments. His fields of expertise are in financial planning, cost accounting, financial modeling and project valuation. Mr. Hannan has worked and consulted for many Canadian telecommunications operators and was involved in numerous large-scale projects in Canada, the United States, South America and Europe.

Mr. Hannan holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Université de Moncton, Canada, a Certificate in Accounting Science from Université du Québec à Montréal, Canada, a Master of Business Administration from Université de Sherbrooke, Canada and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He is also member of the ‘Ordre des Comptables en Management Accredités du Québec’ (Society of Management Accountants of Quebec).

Mrs. Lorna Mata

Mrs. Lorna Mata has 15 years of experience in international telecommunications in the areas of carrier relations, marketing, sales and business development. She has extensive working experience with Canadian telecom organizations, having worked for several Canadian fixed-line and mobile operators. She also has an extensive international experience having held several senior management positions working with operators in Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Caribbean and Latin America.

Mrs. Mata holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

Ms. Wendy Swan

Ms. Wendy Swan is the Chief Operating Officer of Neotelis. She has more than 20 years experience in information technology and telecommunications. Ms. Swan has held positions in business development and sales, technical sales support, and marketing and product management with telecom operators and equipment manufacturers in Canada, the United States and in multiple European countries. She is a member of the Quebec board for the association Canadian Women in Communications.

Ms. Swan holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Canada and a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Mrs. Joanne Kennedy

Mrs. Joanne Kennedy has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications and broadcasting policy sectors in the areas of government policy development, international relations and corporate communications. Since 2001, Ms. Kennedy has focused on providing communications planning and marketing communications for the ICT industries. Ms. Kennedy also has extensive experience working with international organizations, including the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organization (CTO), the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Telecommunications Executives Management Institute of Canada (TEMIC) and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Ms. Kennedy holds a Masters in Public Administration from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada and currently serves on the Board of the Quebec Public Relations Association (Société des relationnistes du Québec).

Ms. Louise Hussein

Ms. Louise Hussein has more than 10 years of experience in telecommunications in the areas of sales, customer service, call centers and human resources. She has also extensive experience in academic teaching as she led several courses at Dawson College, Montreal, Canada and John Abbott College, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Canada.

Ms. Hussein holds a Bachelor in Arts with a major in Human Resources and a minor in Adult Learning from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She also has a Certificate of Collegial Studies in Call Centers from Dawson College and a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Office System Management from John Abbott College.

Mr. Norman Rae

Mr. Norman Rae has 40 years of experience with established companies in the areas of engineering & development, operations and planning. He has occupied several senior management positions and possesses a significant international experience, having worked for more than 10 years in countries such as Bangladesh, Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Tanzania and the United States.

Mr. Rae holds a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering and a Diploma in Management from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

Mrs. Andrée Noël

Mrs. Andrée Noël is a senior expert in telecom regulation with more than 15 years of experience in this sector. From 1998 to 2007, Mrs. Noël was Regional Commissioner for Quebec at the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), the Canadian regulator. Prior to this, she held various top management positions such as Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs as well as Director of Public Affairs at Fonorola Inc., a company providing telecommunication services. Mrs. Noël is a member of the Bar of Quebec and the Canadian Bar Association. She is a former President of the Association of Secretaries and General Counsels of Quebec and a former member of the Council of the Bar of Montreal and of the Council of the Bar of Quebec. She also served as a member of the Council on the Status of Women of the government of Quebec, appointed by the Minister, and sat on the Boards of various public and private institutions.

Mrs. Noël holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Law degree from the University of Montreal, Canada.

Mr. Paul Wignal

Mr. Paul Wignall is a senior expert in call centers with more than 20 years of experience in this sector. He has worked with clients in both Canada and the U.S. and has significant experience in the telecommunications sector. Specializing in call center operations, Mr. Wignall assists call centers with performance assessment, process development and management, change management, and coaching and training of both managers and agents. Mr. Wignall has held several senior management positions within Bell Canada, as well as at C3 Contact Centre Performance Solutions.

Mr. Wignall holds several industry certifications in performance management, coaching and operations review.

Mr. Iyad Koussa

Mr. Iyad Koussa is the Technical Director of Neotelis. He has 18 years of experience in IT and telecommunications acquired with companies such as IBM, National Bank of Canada and Videotron, and in research centers as principal analyst and network administrator. He also has 10 years of experience in training on topics including TCP/IP, network design and implementation, operating systems administration, and database design. He has worked in the Middle East, Asia and North America.

Mr. Koussa holds a Bachelor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Damascus, a Diploma in Computer Science from the High Institute for Applied Sciences & Technology of Syria (HIAST), a Certificate in Network Design from the Okinawa International Center (OIC) of Japan, and he took the Engineering Management Principles and Economics program at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Mr. Koussa is a Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and speaks English, French and Arabic.
