COO Speaks at the Commonwealth Telecommunications
Organization (CTO) HR4ICT 2009

25 January 2010 (Montreal) – Neotelis COO, Wendy Swan, was invited to speak at the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) HR4ICT 2009 conference entitled ‘Technology Evolution, Market Changes & the Challenge for HR’. The event took place on 16-18 November 2009 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

On the second day of the conference during a session on development, engagement and rewards, Ms. Swan delivered a presentation about leveraging technology for learning & development. “New types of training technologies need to be considered in the context of training needs and objectives” said the COO of Neotelis. She also added that the assessment of an organization’s needs and priorities is key to choosing the best way to use training technology.

The CTO HR4ICT 2009 gathered participants from over 40 countries. HR experts, corporate stakeholders, policy makers and executives from across the ICT sector in the Americas were present to address the following topics: technology evolution, investing in the human capital, talent management and leadership, strategic HR management and industrial relations.
